After 20 years, it was just a matter of time that Romeo Riot was formed with the talents of members of other Kivel Records artists, a ‘supergroup’ if you will:
Mark Giovi – Lead Vocals (Farcry, High Gear and Optimism albums)
Erik Johnson – Guitar, Vocals, Drums (Bombay Black)
Scott Miller – Lead Guitar (Tango Down)
Jace Pawlak – Keyboards, Vocals (Solo Artist)
Ty Sims – Bass (Bombay Black)
The result: think Night Ranger meets ‘Slippery When Wet’-era Bon Jovi. An album of ten songs begging to be played on a big stage and cranked in your ears, evoking those arena stage/huge light rig/bombastic rock ‘n roll shows when the music was fun, the party vibe was infectious and tickets were less than $20 apiece!
