Kivel Records is an independent record label that specializes in Melodic Hard Rock.  Established in 1997, Kivel has maintained over twenty years of successful mediocrity. We say that in jest as we do not like to take ourselves too seriously. However, we do take our product seriously, and the set bar is far from mediocre.

 

We pride ourselves with our stunning visual artwork and photography, combined with the tight, strong production value of our releases, offering our customers a total perfect package in our product: both eye catching and ear grabbing. In the end, we’re a modest independent label that packs a ‘big label’ punch.

 

We began with two releases in a basement and, 20+ years later, we have released albums from over thirty bands. We have toured through the United States from small venues to big festivals.  We have plugged into to 220v amps in Europe and entertained across the pond. What started out as a passionate dream is still going strong three decades later and with no less passion from Day 01. We have worked with a lot of great talent through the years from well-known artists and producers to unknown shining new stars. As fortunate as we are to surround ourselves with a great pool of talent, what is more important to us is you, the customer/fan.  We are always excited to meet new customers that are eager to see and hear what we do here. We will always strive to maintain our set bar and celebrate our “successful mediocrity” as we welcome you to our party.
