interview
TNA
TNA was formed by Danny Tore &
Sean Tarr. The group's beginnings started in a basement in Upstate NY. After
a few personnel changes, equipment upgrades, numerous demo's and hundreds of
gigs around the NY tri state area the band had honed it's sound into a tight, heavy
groove ladened sound with catchy hooks guaranteed to put a smile on the face
of any melodic hard rock lover. Unfortunately, the band imploded out of sheer
frustration in 1992 before they could land a record deal. The band sat inactive
for the next 8 years, during which time the individual members pursued other
endeavors musical and otherwise.
In 1999 drummer Danny Tore
and guitarist Sean Tarr decided it was time to fire up the TNA machine once again, and begin the process of
picking up where they left off. The band started gigging again and writing new
material. In 2000 The band signed with KIVEL RECORDS.
The band headed into the studio and
started work on their KIVEL release, and were armed with a bounty of
new songs. The band opted to leave some for the second album, wanting to
give the fans some of the older favorites for this release. With the
production help of ex-Cult drummer
Lez Warner
the band was ready to deliver what most
people on the club scen already knew. By the fall of 2000 it was apparent
that TNA was back
and ready to enter the new millennium stronger than ever! Now with a new
attitude, clear head and once again the desire to play the music that this band
has come to love. TNA will release their debut album "Finger on the Trigger" this
June on KIVEL
RECORDS! A long time coming,.... BITTER SWEET it maybe, but 100%
deserved ! This is the first of what promises to be many offerings from this
talented Rock act. So get your FINGER ON THE TRIGGER this summer and prepare to
be BLOWN AWAY!!!
